Biotin (VB7) is a water-soluble B vitamin. VB7 is involved in a wide range of metabolic processes, and is an important part of enzymes in the body that break down substances like fats, carbohydrates, and others. VB7 deficiency can cause thinning hair and red scaly rash around the eyes, nose, and mouth.

• Stability: Stable, but light sensitive. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong bases, strong acids, formaldehyde, chloramine-T, nitrous acid.
